Connecting your editor
Connecting takes a minute: tell your editor about the server, and when the agent first reaches it, allow the connection in the browser tab that opens. The dashboard's Editor Agents page (in your account menu, top right, or Connect Your Editor on the AI Builder page) shows the same steps with the URL filled in.
The server's address is:
https://api.link.voshi.com/ltiaas/mcp
Your editor
- VS Code
- Claude Code
- Cursor
- Other
Use the Command Palette:
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+P(Windows/Linux) orCmd+Shift+P(macOS). - Choose MCP: Add Server.
- Select HTTP as the transport type.
- Enter
https://api.link.voshi.com/ltiaas/mcpas the server URL. - Type
Voshias the server ID, and choose the scope.
Or add it by hand to .vscode/mcp.json in the tool's folder, then start the server from the MCP view:
{
"servers": {
"voshi": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.link.voshi.com/ltiaas/mcp"
}
}
}
Run this in a terminal, then type /mcp in Claude Code to sign in:
claude mcp add --transport http voshi https://api.link.voshi.com/ltiaas/mcp
Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or the project's .cursor/mcp.json), then sign in from Cursor's MCP settings:
{
"mcpServers": {
"voshi": {
"url": "https://api.link.voshi.com/ltiaas/mcp"
}
}
}
Any agent that speaks MCP over HTTP can connect: give it the URL above. It must support signing in with OAuth, which is how every current editor connects.
Signing in
The first time the agent reaches the server, your editor opens a browser tab on Voshi. Sign in with your builder account — the email and password you use for the dashboard — and press Allow. The page names the account it is about to connect; Not you? switches accounts.
That is the only sign-in. The connection lasts two weeks, after which the agent asks you to allow it again.
If you have just launched your tool from the Sandbox in the same browser, the sign-in page may show the Sandbox's test student or instructor rather than you, and refuse the connection. Press Not you? and sign in as yourself.
Working
Start in the tool's folder — the one Download Code gave you, or an empty one — and ask. A few things that work well:
- "What tools do I have on Voshi?"
- "Fetch the code for Flashcard Drill into this folder."
- "Make the cards bigger and upload it."
- "Publish this as a private version, with the note 'larger cards'."
The agent reads AGENTS.md first, so it knows the rules of a hosted tool and the tool's locations before it edits anything. After an upload, refresh the Sandbox in the dashboard to see the result; the agent cannot launch the tool for you.
Disconnecting
The dashboard's Editor Agents page lists every agent you have allowed, with when it was allowed and when it expires. Disconnect ends one at once; the agent's next call fails, and it asks you to allow it again if you want it back. Disconnecting removes nothing from your editor's configuration, and nothing from your tools.
